Enterprise PBX in Stalgast
New server-based enterprise class PBX was delivered to Stalgast.
This installation was aimed to reach the following targets:
- migration into advanced digital telephony services,
- infoline (helpdesk) improvments,
- founding the infrastructure for future cost opimization and B2B telephony.
The PBX was based on Dell server. It serves one ISDN PRI line and about a hundred of internal phones. It provides for unlimited virtual faxes which drastically reduces equipment costs.
Infoline operation has been improved becouse of advanced agent queuing algorithms. Previous PBX had no queuing and infoline staff was forced to resolve manually which person answers the phone. Currently phone agents are dialed automatically based on the selected algorithm.
Thanks to VoIP protocols implemented in the PBX and built-in internet call routing anyone can use the PBX outside of the company. Employees can be virtually present under their regular extensions even when they travel abroad. Becouse they use regular internet connections the costs of international calling is reduced.
